MY RESEARCH QUESTION:

"How do you document yourself offline? Why?"

today I'm trying to find some piece of media that relates to my question. An article, a video, a podcast... hopefully something not to dense or hard to read.

I started by basically asking google my question. I mostly got results like this article: "Quitting Instagram taught me how to truly experience and document my life again"

a lot of people are apparently thinking along these lines:

how did this article inform my question? how I'll ask it and who I'll ask?

it was written by someone born in 1996 (younger than me which was interesting) someone who always had social media around in their conscious life. they joined facebook and ig in highschool. this quote was interesting: "Initially, social media tapped into my ongoing interest in documenting my life. The night before my 12th birthday, I went into every room in my house, willing myself to remember what inhabiting those spaces felt like as an 11 year old." I definitely identified with that feeling as a kid and a young person.
